Everything you ever wanted to know about me!
Hi!. My name is Melissa Bartlett. Also known as Mimi. People who have known me forever call me Mimi, but I introduce myself as Melissa, but my husband calls me Mimi which really confuses new people. Speaking of my husband (Mark), we met at Stanford freshman year and started dating soon after. We both graduated early and got married, packed up our lives and moved across the world to New Zealand. We bought a house, got new jobs, and had a baby girl!

My favorite things in the world: Photography, diet coke, funfetti cake, swedish fish, my handsome husband, and my cutest little baby bug Riley. Obviously not in that order. Some things you might soon find out about me... I take way too many pictures, and I have a hard time choosing which ones to share, so I share them all. I love digital scrapbooks. I used to play soccer very competitively, but not so much anymore.
My husband is the most handsome man ever. And he is totally in love with me, and our baby girl. He's currently in the process of becoming Dr. Bartlett, which is what brought us all the way out to New Zealand. Well, that's not entirely true. He was born and raised in New Zealand, which means YES he does have an amazingly awesome accent. If we're lucky, Riley will get a kiwi accent before we move back to the US. But I digress. We're here so Mark can get his pHD in chemistry. And so I can have babies. For free. Ok that's not a reason we're here, but it is true and so very awesome. Having babies here is totally, completely, 100% free.!

In June 2010 our little baby bug entered this world, and our world was forever changed. She is the best thing ever!! She makes us want like 5 more! And she also made me do all kinds of things I never ever thought I would do: cloth diapering, co-sleeping, worrying about plastic toys and BPA and nitrates, breastfeeding for way longer than I thought, among other things. But she's totally worth it. She's the most awesome baby ever, pretty much. She loves books, her mama, and her daddy. She is loud. Very very loud, and we love that about her. She wants to be held or by her mama all the time. She's tons of fun.
